Pre-Shutdown Cleaners – Cadia Mine

Location: Cadia Mine, Orange NSW
12-Hour Shifts | Day Shift Available | Shutdown Work

About the Role

This is a hands-on role involving industrial cleaning and site preparation prior to machinery shutdowns. You will work alongside trades and site personnel to ensure work areas are clean, safe and ready for maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist tradespeople with general tasks as required
  • Clean and prepare work areas prior to machinery shutdowns
  • Use industrial hoses and shovels to remove rubble and debris
  • Complete general industrial cleaning duties
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Follow all site safety procedures and instructions

About You

To be successful, you will:

  • Be physically fit and comfortable completing manual work
  • Be reliable and able to work 12-hour shifts
  • Have a strong commitment to workplace safety
  • Be able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Be able to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol screen
  • Mining, shutdown or industrial cleaning experience is highly regarded
